Processing all the means and possibilities of communication in special libraries 2.

Abstract

Features of the communication processes, of information and, of the documentation were treated in the part 1. of the paper. In this part 2. qualities and efficiency of the communication means and channels are analysed. Correletions of the means and channels to the receivers of publications and to the users of various types. Categories of users are introduced according to the classification made by SCORTECCI.
Means and channels of communication and their organization features. Research work on the communication field on the efficiency of the various means of communication. Scale of efficiency of the communication means and channels shown by the inveatigations of CANTRIL and ALLPORT.
Analysis of the known-how of the all-sided developing all the possibilities for acquisition and transmission of information, supposing, that the special library in learned or engineering institutions plays the role of information centre. In the fact, the reference service in a library has to give all-sided information on the complexity of the information sources and means as a whole, available in searching a given subject matter.
Scheme of a variety of possibilities of making use the graphical (written), oral (oral-auditive) and illustrative visual informations resp. The special libraries have to set up combinations of sources and means in a way most suitable for needs of users' categories and individuals resp.
