Availability of life science journals in Hungary from 1970to 1976

Abstract

In 1970 the provision wifh life science journals failed to satisfy the needs. The situation has further deteriorated from 1970 to 1976. The decrease in subscriptions is due first of all to the dramatic increase of subscription rates. As a possible solution the author suggests to establish a central collection of journals which could also provide a basis for SDI services.
