Report on the activities of the Central Library of the Budapest Technical University in 1967.

Abstract

The paper contains the most essential dates of the annual report of the Library. 11.593 volumes were acquired, the number of registered readers was 10.703 and that of the volumes circulated amounted to 306.747 during the year. 14 publications were issued; the first year-book of the Library, the guide for literature searching for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the publication on the methods of handling non-traditional documents deserve special mentioning. The Library has difficulties in coping with the increasing quantity of special literature and with the considerable rise in prices of publications.
