Exhibition of the 3M Company in Budapest

Abstract

The Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Ministry of Metallurgy and Machine Industry organised an exhibition of the products of the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company (3M Company) in Budapest, september 25-28, 1968. The Company exhibited only a few selected samples of its products, but the reprographic devices on show - united in a line - represented one of the most up-to-date microfilm systems seen in the last years. The 3M microfilm system consists of processing microphotos of documents and drawings on aperture cards, by multiplying and reenlarging the microphotos by rapid copying process.
It were desirable that similar exhibitions showing mechanized processes of documentation should be organized more often in the future.
