Literary documentation sources in the meat isdustry research work

Abstract

Of all the respective documentation sources, the paper deals with the periodicals. The special documentation problems of meat industry research work as a complex applied scientific field are discussed. The periodical bibliography is selected according to which world standard journals publish regularly or occassionally significant papers on practical or theoretical problems encountered in the research work of the meat industry. The documentation media of periodical and paper review work are presented, that is, periodical biblio graphies, repertories, reference magazines, and index type services which, however, can be taken into consideration on a world level basis as well. The publication practices of the leading meat industry research institutes of the world are studied, with other words, which periodicals do they publish their papers in, as reflected by the publications presented in course of one year.
