Possibilities to establish a technical information service within the Association for Agriculural Mechanization
Abstract
The article tends to analyse the preconditions and implications involved in the organization of an up-to-date information system in agricultural machine production.
The quality as well as the quantity of the information needed is determined by the level of the technological development in this branch of production. This is, at the same time, the precondition for the formation of an efficient information system.
The article surveys the methods of processing literature which ensure adequate selectivity and short processing time in order to help economic and technological decision-making. It also deals with the harmony between the organization and the techniques of information, the types of computers, the quantity of literature stored from the aspect of information retrieval. It also gives the flow-chart of the computerized processing of technical literature.
