Bibliographic links in library catalogues provide a link between two or more bibliographic entities. One of the functions of library catalogues is to reflect these bibliographic relationships in order to enable searchers to identify and locate related works. The user functions in the IFLA library reference model reinforce the importance of bibliographic relationships by including discovery among the user functions. Since the IFLA Library Reference Model (LRM) is the basis for the development of various bibliographic systems, our aim is to review which bibliographic relationships have been defined previously and to examine which bibliographic relationships correspond to the relationships declared in the LRM.
