Automatic detection of name authority records in the PIM database

Abstract

The article provides and overview of the major databases integrated into the namespace of the Petőfi Museum of Literature (PIM) and of the model for personal name authority records. The process of unifying name records is described in detail, together with the tasks after unification. The future opportunities of utilising the PIM name space are discussed in short as well.
