The „Dreamers of Dreams-World-Famous Hungarians". The electronic pictures in the Millenary Exhibition Hall

Abstract

The exhibition in the Millenary Exhibition Hall, Budapest, Hungary, shows the most famous 689 personalities, the most important results and documents of the thousand-year old Hungárián industry, culture, arts, sport, technology and science. The exhibits cover more than thousand photos, 290 objects, more than 100 audio, image, film and videó items, about 50 computer databases and CD-ROMs. The author presents the matériái of the electronic library, the contents of audio presentations, the titles of continuously shown film and videó presentations in the exhibition. The databases available in the multimédia center called „spectacle store" are overviewed, with a detailed description of databases in Mathematics, Educa-tion, and Computer and Information Science and Technology.
