Abstract

The Bookfinder is the most comprehensive Hungarian database of books on the Internet. Due to its continuous development, it contains presently more than 85,000 books, CD-ROMs, video cassettes and DVDs, as well as data of more than 6000 Hungarian publishers, distributors and bookshops within and beyond the Hungárián border. Free services are provided on the supply of Hungarian book market, the novelties of the past two weeks, and the books with their authors of the past ten years. Since 1999, B2C type electronic commercial services based on the database have been operating.
