Abstract

The implementation of copyright laws and regulations, and the availability of intellectual products for the public are in the state of a very delicate equilibrium with each other. The new copyright law of Hungary solves this problem in a modern way, in accordance with international agreements and regulations of the European Union. Libraries should alsó accommodate their practices and services to the new legal regulations. Public libraries have been given more benefits for their services. The author discusses in detail the various regulations for circuiation, reading room use, interiibrary lending, printed and internet publication.
