Characteristícs of the CD-ROM publication of Hungary in 2000

Abstract

The basic data of CD-ROM publication in Hungary in 2000 as compared to those between 1992 and 1999 are compiled, using the results of an analysis of 234 items, showing further development in 2000. The number of CD-ROM titles has grown, their subjects have diversified. The publishers are traditional publishing houses as well as new scientific and cultural institutions and new limited companies.
