Citing remote access HTML documents

Abstract

The intemational standard for citing electronic HTML documents has been available for nearly five years. As for traditional documents, the Hungárián nalional standard was alsó published ín 1990. The regulations set forth by the standards are comparatively simple, but in the case of remote access electronic documents problems arise that are more complicated thart usual, since the imprint of these documents is extraordinarily in-complete. The topics of utility (non-traditional: entertainment, informational, commercial, corpo-rate, personal) HTML documents are covered in greater detail. There is an increasing number of references to remote access electronic documents. A number of examples are covered fol-lowing the intemational standard. It is time that a Hungárián standard be alsó established. This is the interest of the scientifically demanding authors, the editors and last but not least the readers.
