Format of contents and logics of change. Some theoretical problems of content analysis

Abstract

Gradual automation of library processíng has revealed possibilities in formai and content analysis of documents that have not been possible in the traditional framework. For the utilization of these possibilities, the content analysis process should be realized more consequently. It has been acknowledged as the guideline for the analysis that the processes are taken place parallelly with each other at different physical, user, language and conceptual levels, with interactions between the levels. The author discusses the problems of content analysis according to these levels.
