International trends of the evolution of copyright with special emphasis to library activitles

Abstract

An unavoidable consequence of the developments in digital technologies and the spreading of information society is the renewal of copyright regulations. This is reflected by the priority of up-dating copyright law regulations on both national and international levél. This process that affects both those entitled to copyright and the users has become necessary without any doubt, but several people look anxiously to the projected changes or those that have been executed already. These events have specially serious impacts on the activities of libraries.
