Publicatlons from the drug industry: Chinoin's last five years

Abstract

Support of research, conditions of scientrfic activities, even the main targets of development are quite different in academic and in profitoriented institutions. However, the ultimate goals are the same: increasing human knowledge at a given area, in accordance with all available, previous and recent sources of information. To achieve this, industrial research must be as rigorously managed and evaluated as basic research and, concequently, must follow all formai features of contemporary publication rules. The main subject of the presented analysis is now researchers of an industrial community, the Chinoin Pharmaceutical and Chemical Works Co., Ltd., Hungary, have achieved these goals in the last five years.
