What should be known ofthe ISDN

Abstract

ISDN is a relatively new telecommunication technology that makes possible fast and highquality voice and data transmission services for a higher than the present, though for an acceptable price. The role of the new technology has been enhanced recently by the expansion of Internet usage. Accordingly, the National Information Infrastructure Development (NHF) project of Hungary has been prepared for these demands.
