Organizing Slovene medical bibliography onthe World Wide Web

The Institute of Biomedical Informatics (IBMI), Ljubljana, Slovenia has been compiling and maintaining the biomedical bibliographic database, the Biomedicina Slovenica (BS) for twenty years. This work has been going an with the adoption of the structural rules of the Medline database. BS supports primarily specific information retrieval tasks (preparation of personal and institutional databases, national epidemiological and health care searching etc.) In addition, it is an aid for biomedical research. Because its use has been expanding, it was made available for internet use by data conversion of IBMI.
