Quality and library. Quality development in libraries

Abstract

For the library applications of Total Quality Management (TQM) and of its implications the users' needs must be considered primarily. Library staff should be involved and be taken interested in quality development activities. A close connection exists between quality development and job output measurement and its evaluation which helps in the presentation of library services and efficiency for both the supporters and the users. The quality of library services is verrfied primarily by the satisfaction of its users, therefore the knowledge of their opinion is extremely important.
