Hungarian company directory and information databases

Abstract

The author surveys important company information and directory databases and services in Hungary, presenting their main features. The databases are described in four categories, acoording to their contents and objectives: directories for contacting companies; company catalogues supplying marketing data; databases compiling official corporate filing data; updated company information services assessing corporate finances and solvency. The main characteristics of the databases presented are number of companies, display format, update frequency, criteria for inclusion in the database, data contents and price.
