Remarks to the study „Bibliographic description of CD-ROMs" by P. Prejczer

Abstract

The above study examines four problems. The first refers to the terminology associated with the new information media. The second problem is related with the authorship; it suggests that the selection of the author depends primarily on the character of the document — electronic versions of documents that appeared originally in printed form should be treated differently from those which are electronic documents originally. The third problem is the selection of the main entry in the title field, as illustrated through on example. Finally, the description order and communication mode of techni-cal detaíls for the given operational environment are pointed out, according to ISBD (CF) guidelines.
