Abstract

Two projects connected closely were completed in the International Management Center that had been running paralelly. These projects implemented their respective information systems, including automated libraries, simultaneously. The past year saw a lot of planning and work that resulted in experiences and substantial professional development. However, some critics must be said because problems had to be encountered, too. The goal is to show how did a business school face the challenge of the markét and built its information system which had been neglected previously. The study might be beneficial for those librarians who plan themselves the automation of the library and must chose from several options, or who might be in the situation of accomplishing the first practical steps after the planning stage.
