My dream of an electronic library guide

Abstract

In the modern library of a large industrial company a printed library guide has been prepared and published recently. The author, based on her experiences with the preparation of this guide, shows the possible benefits of an electronic guide systematically. The author's dreams of such a guide suggest that it could both present library services and make them readily
available for users simultaneously. The opportunities of a hypertext library guide would suggest a scenario of virtual library.
