Management principles in libraries. Introductory remarks to the realization of the humanized and human-centered management conception

The subtitle of this study suggests that the author prefers humanized and human-centered structures rather than hierarchical and autocratic management and organizational structures. In this framework, a general management system model is presented, and formal and informal organizations and their elements are discussed. Concerning the elements of informal organizations, special attention is paid to the issues of satisfaction and dissatisfaction as well as to the handling of conflicting situations.
