Databases at the Institute for Economic Analysis and Information of the Ministry of Finance, Hungary

Abstract

Tne purpose of the database called KUTFEJ developed at IEAI is to provide information for economy analysts. The database can be used by anyone even without education in computer fields, because a menu-driven software guides the user. Data can be retrieved using the SQL language through the X.25 data communication network. The database contains the most important annual figures and indicators ot the Hungarian economy, at industry levels at least.
