Recent MicroISlS software development projects at Számalk Infonet Ltd, Hungary

Abstract

Software development projects completed or under development for UNESCO's MicroISlS users are reported. The objectives were to extend the capabilities of MicroISlS PC and mini (VAX) versions by options which were available so far in mainframe versions only, to provide data communication links for microcomputer database users who are not famíliar with ISO 2709 format, to solve practical conversion problems between mainframe, mini and micro versions, and to overcome operational uncertainties of the mini VAX version. 13 programs have been completed at Számalk Infonet Ltd at the time of writing this paper, and other are under development.
