Experiences with online information searches at the Central Library of Budapest Technical University

Abstract

In BTU's Library online search services have been in operation since the end of 1987. Both university departments and external users can reguest database search services. Though online searching is very popular, the number of requests are going down. Computerized searching of information was made part of the curricula of Library and information courses for undergraduate and graduate students.
