Computerized information services in the Biogal Pharmaceutical Factory

Abstract

In the Biogal Pharmaceutical Factory, Debrecen, Hungary, online searching started in 1983. Computer information systems have been used in three areas: online search services, an internal database of online retrieved information, an online catalogue of book holdings in the company's technical library. In addition, Biogal participates in the information education of undergraduate students.
