KOPINFO - the public online business database service

Abstract

KOPINFO, the Online database service under introduction can be used from any terminál or PC with access to a public packet switched dala network. The host is available via X.25 network service at 9600 bps data rate. The content of the database, the computer network configuration, and the way how to access the services offered by Kopint-Datorg are described. Multiuser operating system, relational database management system, 4GL, structured query language, transparent network are discussed as the most important concepts related with KOPINFO.
