The dialogue of research engineers and information professionals for the success of technology-following innovation

Abstract

The technological development, the innovation activity and the analysis of information systems have led to new knowledge. The consequence of this procedure is that while earlier the output support provided by the information department of a company was sufficient for development and innovation, nowadays a continuous dialogue between research and information personnel is needed. This way it can be assured that through holding the 12 steps of product development, the widening of the technological and economical gap from the foreline of development could be avolded. As a result of this dialogue, several criteria of close technology-following can be taken intoaccount at development decisions.
