Technology information transfer as one of the main factors of technical development in Sociaitst countries

Abstract

The main directions of the activities of INFORMA Technology Transfer Information Centre in Bulgaria are described with special reference to the complex programme of scientific and technological advance of CMEA countries to the year 2000. The unified technology information system established by INFORMA and the services offered by the databases in the system are described. The possibllities in the international cooperation are pointed out. INFORMA has been operating on self-accounting basis since its establishment. Its aim is to introduce self-supporting foreign currency management toward which the first steps have been completed.
