On management information systems — Two approaches

Abstract

In Hungary, computerized management information systems have started developing recently. This fact suggests to speak about their two different aspeets. In the first part of this paper their significance and role in corporate operations as well as in a national information system is discussed. In the second part the organization and methodology of management information systems is considered. Finally, a subsystem of a Hungarian management information system is presented.
