UTRIN as information centre in Czechoslovak machine industry

Abstract

The Czechoslovakian Information Institute for Technical Develpment, UTRIN. was established in 1971, and has been supplying information services from 1975 onwards in the fields of general and heavy machine industries in this country. It focuses its services especially on the information needs of R and D and of quality control in mechanical engineering. In order to meet any challenge, the application of advanced information services is required at UTRIN. To realize all intentions, cooperation between UTRIN and several information centres both abroad and in the country has been established.
