The activities of the Agricultural R and D Management Services of AGROf NFORM

Abstract

The operation of the research and development in the fields of the agriculture in Hungary has three focal points. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food coordinates the realization of guidelines set by the government's science policy, the project councils control branch industry R and D, and AGROINFORM's R and D Management Service accomplishes operational, coordination, organizational and management tasks. This latter makes recommenda-tions, coordinates project planning and management, prepares subject-oriented research project database, makes preparations for judgment on applications related with R and D projects by utilizing national and international databases. The Management Service develops and adopts R and D management methodologies, organizes exhibitions at home and abroad, and produces video movies on new R and D results which are suitable for their introduction rnto practical agricultural utilization, into production.
