Reasons of the missing information policy in Hungary

Abstract

There is no up-to-date national information policy in Hungary, the government did not support any initiative in this direction so far. The reason is the lack of the market economy in Ihis country. Some western examples suggest that if an efficient market economy could be established in Hungary, also the information would find its value according to this segmenl of the market, it can be assumed that a state information policy to be introduced will effectively stimulate this process.
