-Abstract
The system is made for users without any knowledge of computers. Its main function is to set up lists of bibliographic references but can also be used for maintaining small library collections of no more than 700 items. Records will have fixed length fields. Field lengths and field names will be determined by the user during system generation. Default field names are: type of document, call number, title, author(s), impression, year of publication, keywords, note. Authors and keywords are repeatable. Relying on displayable help information users will be able to operate the system, to change default values, and to generate new databases.
