The analysis of the publications by lecturers of the Technical University of Budapest (TUB) in foreign journals

Abstract

The publication activity in foreign languages of TUB's lecturers and scientists are surveyed for four selected years, 1974, 1976, 1978 and 1980, by country of publication and by journal title. It was found that the international publication relations of TUB have significantly increased, and they have been concentrated in journals appearing in four countries, GDR, FRG, UK and USA. The contribution of various faculties and institutes of TUB to international publication is not uniform which can only partly be attributed to the differences in their particular subject fields.
