Scientific and technical information supply in Finland

Abstract

The article gives a general overview on the Finnish scientific-technical information system as well as its own and mediated services. The following fields are emphasized: organizational aspects, central institutions, information technology, traning of experts, national and international cooperation. The author deals in detail with the Information Service of the Technical Research Centre of Finland i.e. its activites.
