Abstract

PRECIS is being introduced in the National Educational Information System (OPIR) of Hungary. The present artiele providcs an outline only of the "original" English version of PRECIS on the bases ofthe PRECIS manuals (second and first edition), and other related studies. The adaptation of PRECIS for Hungarian will be discussed in a later study.
