-Abstract
In Hungary, the public libraries do not collect fine and special literature published in Esperanto as a rule. This fact makes especially valuable the private collection of Károly Fajszi which contains 6200 books and brochures, 2500 bounds volumes of journals, more than 5000 incomplete journal volumes, numerous other primed matters, manuscripts and photos, and more than 1000 archive units. This collection, binng significant also in worldwide sense, grows steadily mainly by exchange. The processing of the collection is underway, one of its products will be a catalogue published by the National Széchényi Library (OSZK). According to the collector's intention, this collection will be transferred sooner or later into one of the Hungarian public libraries.
