Scientometric indicators. Comparative analysis of the scientific publication activity of Austria, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Israel, Poland, Hungary and New-Zealand (1976-1980)

In the present paper an analysis and comparison of the scientific publication activity of seven countries is carried out. The study is based on the data of the Science Citation Index of the Institute for Scientific Information. The publications were classified into science fields and indicators of the number, distribution and citation rate of the publications were developed and comparatively analysed.
