A computerassisted information storage and retrieval system at the Institute of Pharmacology of the Szeged Medical University

Abstract

The database used for the computer-based information system consists of approx. 16 000 records produced from book chapters, Journal articles and reprints. The documents are processed with the cooperation of the scientists of the Institute. The development of the system is planned to include also the computer-based storage and retrieval of papers prepared by the Instituts's scientists, the book holdings in the library and, in addition, the automation of the library circulation system.
