New directions in services

Abstract

The Library of HAS was known as a long-established, somewhat conservative institution possessing a prestigious collection. In recent years, the library has been working to convert and expand services in accordance with the requirements of the digital age while preserving its traditional values. The paper presents the new, comfortable features of the online catalogue, the electronic databases, EOD services, changesin interlibrary loan, and reports on novelties introduced in user education and electronic information services.
