Cooperating and interlibrary lending

Abstract

The author examines the operation of the new, regional system of interlibrary lending started in Hungary in 1977. The inadequacy of the system is reflected by the fact that libraries in the country are still borrowing documents from large research libraries in the capital, even though these documents should be available in the relevant region. However, some positive results of régional cooperation can also be observed.
