Let coordination be real at last!

Abstract

The author, an acquisitions librarian, criticizes the way of decision of the ad-hoc committe set up by the National Council for Librarianship of Hungary which, without any consultation with the libraries concerned, cancelled several 1983 orders for Western journals available only for hard currency. She also presents propositions for other, more democratic ways of saving currency conceerning both journal and book ordering.
