Abstract

The development of the special library network for urban planning and construction over theperiod 1976-1982 is analyzed, comparing the status of and the changes in library collections, the number of users, the extent of bibliographical coverage, the circulation control files, the number and qualification of librarians, the working conditions, the rules of running the services, special "book-days", reader movements, interlibrary connections, methodological assistance and the appreciation of library work.
