Teletext in the Hungarian practice

Abstract

The author expresses his disapproval of the fact that the teletext service of the Hungarian television has so far been neglected in libraries and information systems for professional and bibliographic information services. The possibilities of teletext utilization are demonstrated through the experiments of the Educational Technology Centre in Veszprém. According to the author's view, the infrastructure of this type of information service could be established within a couple of years in this country.
