Education of information science and technology at the Technical University of Budapest

Abstract

Nearly 10 000 engineers have studied so far the methods of literature search and information retrieval during special courses at the Tehcnical University of Budapest. The curricula of the courses, the training experiences, the future prospects and development objectives of this type of education are deseribed.
