Problems of scientific and technical information in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Abstract

The role of scientific and technical information in R&D and production as evaluated by the Party, the government and the specialists is outlined. The development and present structure of the national network of scientific and technical information institutes are reviewed. The difficulties of the present system as well as the trends for its improvement are deseribed.
