International organizations and information systems on road research

Abstract

The activities of governmental and non-govemmental organizations and information systems on road research aie briefly deseribed, with regard to the interest and participation of Hungary. The establishment of the road and transportation subsystem of the International Information System in Science and Technology (IISST) and the consequent tasks in Hungary are also discussed.
